HISTORICON! Fredericksburg Expo & Conference Center, Fredericksburg, VA, 12 - 16 July 2017 - UBER NEW!

Chassepot vs Needle Gun - the Franco-Prussian War
The French and Prussians clash at Saarbrucken and Forbach at the beginning of the Franco-Prussian War. An expanded battlefield adds lots of maneuver room, and optional reinforcements could well turn disaster into victory. Also known as Spicheren, this is a new AOV Imperial expansion module scenario. Thick skins needed for caissons full of fun.

Players: 8
Length: 5 hours

THE WEEKEND. Continental Inn, Lancaster, PA, 21 - 25 June 2017 - UBER NEW!

Traktir Bridge - France v Russia in the Crimea
Celebrating the release of the Crimean War expansion for AOE II, its Assumption Day, 1855 and Russian General Prince Gortchakov launches a final, desperate attack to break the siege of Sevastopol. This time the French and Sardinians are the targets, led by meaner than a banshee with a hangover Marshal Aimable Pelissier. "Avancez les tambours! A la bayonette, en avant!" Thick skins needed for loads of fun.

Bayonet vs Needlegun Redux – the Battle for Skalitz, 1866
Its 28 June 1866 - again. Prussian General Steinmetz’s V Korps is on the march while Austrian FML Leopold’s VIII Korps has been ordered to withdraw in front of him. Problem was, the Austrians didn’t, and the resulting battle had all the carnage and glory (ahem) one might expect when the Kaiser’s  cold steel gets down with the Needlegun. Colorful, fast, easy to learn and lots of fun. Thick skinned folks only. This is an Historicon encore.

Schlacht Bei Tratenau, 1866

The first major battle of the 7 Weeks War was a costly Austrian victory over the Prussians on 27 June at Tratenau. The upcoming Age of Valor rules, based on Fire & Fury, recreates this slug-fest in all its glory, alongside Krupps, needle guns and Austrian bayonet charges. Fun - not winning - is key, so thick skinned players only.
